Why use Tungsten jigs? Tungsten jigs have a smaller profile for their weight, compared to lead jigs. This allows you to get back in the water and drop much faster without jeopardizing the low profile. To get the same weight in lead, the jig would be much larger in size. The smaller profile can make all the difference, especially the days when the bite is hot!
